Our Business

Spring Lake Winery was constructed and open its doors in 2006.  The Wine Barrel Gift Shop at Spring Lake started business in April of 2007, Though only in the business for one year, the gift shop has witnessed many wonderful things that will continue to make the business flourish. 

 From participating in Niagara Wine Trail events, Medina Railroad "Wine Train" Excursions, and winery events, its proved to be quite an opening year!

This upcoming 2008 year promises those wonderful things and more!   Wine Trail event dates have been set, Wine Train excursions have been finalized and many, many new and exciting events are planned in collaboration with Spring Lake and the Wine Barrel.

OOoh my! We haven't updated in a while! We've been so busy with spring and summer events, we have yet to update all of you on the excitement at the Wine Barrel Gift Shop and Spring Lake Winery! Our new patio is complete, new merchandise has been arriving, coffee/tea are being served, our first "wine train" of the season was a huge success and we are in the midst of wedding season...whew! Its been very exciting to see new and returning customers this year!  This upcoming Sunday, June 29th is our second "wine train" of the season. Make sure to come out and visit us!! Well, anyways, here are some pictures of our latest adventures!  Can't wait to see you and please enjoy each day of this wonderful, warm season!

We have kicked off our new Wine Trail season!  Mardi Gras, Be Mine with Wine, Lucky Charms and Wine and Dine has proven to be the start of a very successful and fun year!  We were visited by many people from various areas to share in the Spring Lake experience.  The winery itself is undergoing various changes which includes an extended bar, putting up of the 3-Season Tent and plantings of surrounding gardens.

The next event will take place on May 10 and 11, 2008 - Wine Trail Blossoms. Each "mom" will receive a flower to thank her for being such a great mother! (psst! Want to have a special gift waiting when your Mom comes to visit us? We may have a personalized gift and/or basket ready upon your mother's arrival!) Please inquire by calling or emailing us! It would be a great way to surprise your Mom! Surprises are always fun...we would love to be part of it!

Spring is FINALLY here! AAnnnnd...We have an exciting announcement...starting May 10 and 11 we will be serving coffee, tea, cold drinks and yummy treats at the Wine Barrel Gift Shop! (We are so excited we are besides ourselves!) Along with these yummy items we will have logo merchandise that you may purchase to remember your special day!

In addition, we are busy at work extending our patio deck, English Garden and beautifying and preparing our surrounding grounds to plant our beautiful landscape. You will have wonderful opportunities for photographs with special friends/family.  New merchandise is arriving as we speak (type!) so make sure you come and visit us!

Wine Train tickets are currently ON SALE!  Our first train event starts Sunday, May 25th.  What a perfect way to spend a Sunday previewing our beautiful county from Medina Railroad, Continental breakfast, Train Station tour and then back to Spring Lake Winery for lunch, wine tasting and entertainment!  Children are welcome! Make sure to have them stop by and see "Markie's Lemonade Stand".  Markie is one of the younger cousins who enjoys helping his family at these special events.  He can't be missed...he has a smile you can see a mile away!
